Oh dear, this hat is so big.

Good thing I didn't have it on while watching the movie, because this one was alright. I'm no D&D nerd, but it was enjoyable enough. Characters are good, hi-jinks are funny. Honestly I found myself enjoying the banter and back-and-forth of the characters more than the setting.

This might be just me, but the setting feels a bit...well, old hat, to be honest. It might be that I live in a similar place, so I've seen it all, but hey the presentation is what counts. The characters are what made the movie for me, and for that matter I can give it a soft recommend.

Sure it's super dangerous, and this guy was essentially putting his life on the line for money...but that's a lot of money.

In a way this is admirable, especially with how crooked everything about the world of Pez is, so I found myself rooting for the guy in several occasions, even though he was very much breaking all of the laws.

I'll tell you what this is like. You ever heard those odd news, of old guys robbing someone or something, and you are all like "I hope they don't catch 'em, they deserve to get away"? That's this movie. Or at least the vibe I get from it.

"The Pez Outlaw" may be a bit pedestrian at times, but the oddity that it covers warrants all the attention it may get. Give it a watch, you won't regret it!

I mean, did you know that James Cameron had a screenplay ready for Aliens before they gave him the job of writing and directing Aliens?

Apparently he had a pseudo-fanfic sequel to Alien titled "Mother" which included details like the Marines Corps and the Power Loader robot. He just added Ripley in there and the studio loved it.

He may have forgotten to add he took most of the ideas present in "Them!" too, because that movie is like a proto-Aliens. I'm not dunking on my favorite movie, rather mentioning its origins and what may have inspired it.
